Those roots find their humble beginnings in Lincoln, Nebraska, Wichita, Kansas, and Chicago, Illinois. During his junior year at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, he ran track and later earned All American Honors as a sprinter. Pastor Reynolds received his Master of Divinity degree from Gammon Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Carolina University of Theology in Manassas, Virginia. He entered the ministry in 1977 at the Gorham United Methodist Church on Chicago's south side.
A glimpse of the next 37 years of ministry reveals a wide range of experiences, including a plethora of people-centered, community-oriented, and ecumenical endeavors. Within this three-fold spectrum, Dr. Reynolds enjoyed coaching football, basketball and track, teaching, counseling and keynote speaking at prep and university levels, serving as a police chaplain, a member on numerous boards and committees, and pastoring 14 churches in three different denominations.
Dr. Reynolds describes himself as being on fire for Jesus and full of zeal. His talents include a wonderful singing voice and the ability to work with youth.
